The organisation is aiming at reducing the level of stigma against all diseases, combat/reduce death rate, have fewer orphans and win community trust by helping them address any social issues affecting them, such as poverty eradication, reduction in equality, encourage youth to start businesses focusing on the reduction in unemployment, make verifiable impact and motivate young people to use available resources to access opportunities as well as mobilizing community and empower them on different issues that is affecting them as well as standing for their equal rights.

Nhlayiso CHDIC strongly believes that young people are capable, creative and have a will to do things differently in their lifetime. They are an asset to the development of this country and communities of their own, by saying it means that with the right guidance and support from relevant stakeholders, role players and opportunities given they can become influential leaders of positive change agents of our country. Together we can fight whatever challenge the country is facing that affect our social lives.

We offer education, care and support to the orphaned and vulnerable children especially through after school care programmes and community health based care where we empower and educate communities with different illnesses as well as doing community campaigns, health talks at local clinics, hospitals, train community health workers on the establishment of adherence clubs and providing community HIV Testing Services (HTS).

All of our programmes are delivered through our youth-led peer to peer Education model which enables the transfer of knowledge and skills to high numbers of young people working through youth groups, as well as schools, community, farms, churches and other training institutions.

TB, HIV, Youth empowerment, skills development, stigma and discrimination, gender based violence, diversion, substance abuse.

We consider cooperation a necessary tool for the development process. Therefore, we maintain partnerships with different stakeholders, being aware of the importance of every single pillar: local communities, authorities, other organisations and individuals at national and international level.
